Overview

The Learner Portal enables direct engagement with learners, whether they are registered via education centres or create their own accounts from your website.

Once in the Portal, learners can view available products and associated information, register for qualifications and exams, and make direct payments if required. They can also access information about your membership programmes and subscribe accordingly.

As well as managing their learning journeys and engaging directly with your organisation, they can initiate and respond to various processes, access their results and certificates, and even share their achievements with external parties if they choose.

In addition to enhancing learner engagement and streamlining processes further, the Portal can open up new income streams through features designed to help increase take-up and revenue.

Key Features

PRODUCT LIBRARY

Once signed into their account, learners can view your products and access information such as entry and progression routes, as well as supporting materials to help them make informed choices about the qualifications best suited to their needs.

Then learners can either contact relevant education centres you have approved to offer the product (if delivered in centres) or register directly via the Portal.

RESOURCE LIBRARY

Learners can access your Resource Library and information you make available such as your Appeals policy, Complaints policy, industry papers, updates you may publish, training materials or events.

INTEGRATED STRIPE PAYMENT

Stripe payment is integrated into the module, meaning learners will be able to pay directly at the point of registration and again later if you offer exams which requires learners to pay at the point of exam entry.

Like the Customer Management module, there are features to apply discounts to specific individuals, e.g. if they are eligible for a discount due to bursaries.

MANAGE LEARNING & ASSESSMENTS

Once registered, learners will be able to manage and view their progression through the product, submit evidence and assessments for review, and respond to actions they were assigned.

In addition, they will be able to see available assessments to book onto, such as exams delivered through exam locations that have limited capacity and/or schedule a proctored exam to be taken remotely.

Once booked onto an exam, the learner will receive an email confirmation, as well as being able to access their login details for the exam platform, and additional email reminders in advance of the scheduled exam date/time.

SELF-START VARIOUS PROCESSES

You can configure the module to empower learners to self-start and submit various processes, such as:

  • Enquiries

  • Complaints

  • Reasonable Adjustments / Special Considerations Requests

  • Appeals

  • Requests for hard copy of replacement certificates - paying online if relevant

  • Providing feedback on the course(s) they have finished to inform your service and product reviews.

VIEW & SHARE ACHIEVEMENTS

Via their ‘Achievements’ tab, learners can view and download their results, transcripts and e-certificates.

They can even provide limited access of their achievements to an external party such as a university or potential employer for a specific period of time. Enabling them to provide assurance to the external party on the legitimacy of their claimed achievements.

NOTIFICATIONS & PROMOTIONS

Learners can define their notification settings to determine what they would like to be informed of and when, such as the publication of new materials/new products that an organisation may offer and which may be of interest to themselves. Or they could receive notifications of existing complimentary products which could expand their knowledge and skills to help enhance their future prospects.

If your organisation offers licence to practice qualifications, or membership programmes, learners would be notified of pending expiry dates and given options on how to retake or renew them; with all of the communications configured to reflect your organisation’s approach.
