About Us

Our Background

We were formed back in 2008 by three friends and ex-members of the qualification regulator QCA who spotted a gap in the market and decided to create a one-stop, configurable, SaaS solution called creatiogreen; to transform the way awarding organisations (AOs) went about developing, delivering and awarding qualifications, as well as evidencing compliance against the emerging regulatory General Conditions.

Since then, creatiogreen and our services have evolved to also support memberships and professional bodies, charities, public sector bodies, End-Point Assessment Organisations (EPAOs) and private companies.

Alongside creatiogreen, we provide specialist consultancy services for AOs and EPAOs to help them meet various regulatory requirements.

Therefore in 2022, we implemented a four-day working week to encourage work-life balance. However, employees are given the opportunity to work five shorter working days with no impact on their salary or the service we provide to our clients.

Our Name

Why Creatio?

When forming the company back in 2008, we spent a long time exploring different names and concepts but nothing seemed appropriate. We bounced around different names until Alan (Founder & Managing Director) focused on our core strength: the ability to create a solution and service from scratch, using our own coding.

Based on this concept, we came across the word ‘Creatio’, originating from the Latin phrase ‘creation from nothing’.
